Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s blockbuster horror-comedy ‘Thamma’ is finally making its way to OTT after a strong theatrical run. The film, which earned over ₹211 crore worldwide, is all set to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

The digital release will follow a two-stage rollout:

‘Thamma’, the fifth installment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU), continues the franchise timeline established by ‘Stree’, ‘Bhediya’, ‘Munjya’ and ‘Stree 2’. Made on a massive ₹140 crore budget, the film became the 8th highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025.

Plot Overview

‘Thamma’ stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles. The story follows Alok Goyal, a Delhi-based TV journalist whose life takes a dramatic turn after surviving a wild animal attack during a trek. He meets a mysterious woman with whom he falls deeply in love—only to discover she is Tadaka, a vampire belonging to the ancient Indian clan of betaals. Their world is controlled by the fearsome leader Yakshasan, setting the stage for an intense, humorous, and supernatural showdown.
